Management Team

Mark A. Cottone, President --- In addition to serving as President of Legacy Power Conversion, Mr. Cottone is the President and member of the board of directors of DC Industries, a design and distribution company specializing in electronic components. He has also owned Cougar Package Designers since 1988, the same year he founded DC Industries. In 2004, Mr. Cottone founded DC Technologies for the sole purpose of developing and distributing self-service kiosk equipment.

Richard Jessen, Vice President, Sales --- Mr. Jessen is the former Director of North American Commercial Sales for Best Power. Prior to joining Best Power in 1990, Mr. Jessen was the Operations Manager for Haul Transport headquartered in Milwaukee, WI. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI.

Terry Gotch, Service Manager --- Possessing more than a decade of UPS industry experience with Best Power, Powerware and Eaton, Mr. Gotch has significant expertise with service organization management, including overall operations, field service, Help Desk, training, service sales, accounts payable and inventory analysis. Starting as a customer service technician with Best Power in 1996, Gotch was promoted to field service supervisor the following year. He was promptly promoted to field service manager, overseeing approximately 135 service technicians and training personnel, and managing a P&L Center responsible for $4 million annually. He received his management degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

Bob Lyga, Product Manager --- With nearly two decades of experience in the UPS and power quality industry, Mr. Lyga brings to Legacy Power Conversion extensive product development and project management expertise. He spent eighteen years with Best Power and Powerware, providing key proficiency and support through the companies' multiple corporate acquisitions, including those by General Signal, SPX, Invensys and Eaton Corporation. During that time, he was responsible for the management of numerous UPS product lines including FERRUPS, Unity/I, Patriot Pro, Powerware 5115, Best-Lites and power conditioners.
